About Us

Hello! My name is Kathryn Shuffield. I have lived in Frisco Texas for 20+ years. I am a wife and a mom. When my daughter was born, I wanted to learn how to make cakes. I wanted to be the person making all her birthday cakes as well as be the person to make our family goodies for our special occasions. I took a beginner class, bringing full size cakes each week to family and friends. Once I completed the class learning all the basic skills, I continued to experiment and build on my skills. Now, 19 years later, my passion for making baked goods and sharing with those I care for, brings warmth to my heart. I love seeing the happy faces and hearing how delicious my desserts are. I want to bring to you my passion of quality baked goods to celebrate your special occasions.

As someone who usually scrapes off cupcake frosting, I really like the way the frosting from this business is made. It isn't too sweet or sugary, and it isn't overwhelming in any way. I also really like how moist the cake always is, even after a few days in the box. The cupcakes still taste and feel the same as the first day of receiving them.

KK's Sweet Confections is really amazing. I'm not usually a frosting person but her frosting is really the best there is!! The cakes themselves are always so fluffy and have the perfect amount of humidity inside to where it's perfect! If you want some really good cupcakes you should definitely get them here!!!

I ordered a variety of KK's cupcakes for the holidays to have a sampling of flavors and I got so many compliments as every family member had their favorite. My personal favorites were the Amaretto and Cookies & Creme but all were very good and were the perfect sweetness, I will definitely order more and highly recommend them for those who have a sweet tooth!
